"WhoUWith?...The World?...Or, the One
who made the world?"
I'm asked almost weekly to explain our
ministry name...WhoUWith? Ministries. With August 1, 2003 being the two-year
anniversary of WhoUWith? Ministries, this might be a good time to answer the
questions behind the name.
Several football seasons ago our pre-game
battle cry was, "WhoUWith?...VU!!" I began to wonder, "Who are we really with?
The world, or the Creator and Savior of this world?" It was at about that same
time that I began writing these weekly email devotionals. Putting "WhoUWith?"
in the subject line of the email seemed to fit. We started with maybe 40
individuals on the email list and now we're sending this devotional to over 400
people who are literally all over the world!!
And so when God called
Aimee and I to start this ministry it only made sense to call it: "WhoUWith?
Ministries"
What does God's Word say?:
Ephesians 5:8-10
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as
children of light, for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness,
righteousness and truth and find out what pleases the Lord."
If you have
Christ as your personal Savior and Lord then you no longer have to live by the
immorality of this world. You are free to be salt and light in a bland and dark
world. I love the old illustration..."if you were on trial for being a
Christian would they have enough evidence to convict?"
I wonder...do
others in your life know who you are with by how you live your life? So why not
ask yourself today, WhoUWith?
