“Physically dying is only one of many was you can quit living!” --Unknown

Have you ever met a dead man? I mean someone that has lost the joy of living. They have forgotten what life was all about. Maybe you have been there…or you are there right now.
  • You seemed to have misplaced your ability to be a friend.
  • You can’t find the joy in a sunset (or sunrise for you early birds).
  • You’ve lost your ability to take life’s little obstacles in stride.
  • You’ve allowed the busyness of life to take the life out of you

I have been there (I’m there right now!) and it is no fun. How do you get your joy for life back? Where did it go to begin with?

What does God's Word say?:
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:3-5

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Many times our joy is stolen from us by our circumstances. We need to realize that Christ never promised life would be easy…He just promised to walk through it with those who have surrendered their heart and life to Him. When tough situations come they are there to build perseverance and character and hope. When we are at our weakest, Christ becomes His strongest in our life.
Have you quit living today? Don’t be a dead man walking. Call on Christ… the Giver of life and allow Him to restore your joy…your hope!

Just a thought!
