Meet The Team

Lance Brown

Lance Brown

Lance has been in youth ministry since coming on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in August of 1991. Lance served for 10 years on staff with FCA in Nashville, TN. During his last six years with FCA, Lance began working closely with the athletes and coaches at Vanderbilt University. In the summer of 2001, Lance founded WhoUWith? Ministries and began serving, on a full-time basis, as the “Spiritual Coordinator” for the Vanderbilt athletic program. He works closely with the football and baseball teams. During the year, Lance will lead team chapels, player and coaches’ Bible studies and meet one-on-one with dozens of athletes and coaches.

Lance is a popular speaker for churches, athletic teams, colleges and camps. He has been a speaker at several Fellowship of Christian Athletes National Camps, including St. Simon’s Leadership Camp and Boy’s Black Mtn. Camp.

Lance graduated from Belmont University School of Business in 1991 and is an ordained minister.

Lance, and his wife, Aimee have been married since July, 1992 and live in Goodlettsville, TN. They have four children Shelby, Bailey, Kelsey and Cooper. Lance is passionate about loving and romancing his bride, leading his family and serving the body of Christ through collegiate athletic ministry!

Courtney Grah

Courtney Grah

WhoUWith? Ministries is excited to welcome Courtney Grah on staff directing our women’s ministry. Courtney was on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Nashville from ’04-’12, where she led FCA’s women’s ministry in Middle Tennessee. She conducted chapels, huddles, and events with many local schools.

Courtney has felt the Lord working in her heart to go deeper with female athletes and coaches since 2011 and she has a clear passion for college ministry with athletes. Courtney played volleyball at Tennessee Tech University where she graduated from. As a former athlete, she saw the importance of having someone on the college campus that would hold weekly Bible studies and prayer groups.

She is excited about this new step in her life and looking forward to pouring into the female athletes and coaches on Vanderbilt’s campus.

She and her husband, Curtis, have two sons named Paxton & Pace.

Aimee Brown

Aimee Brown

WhoUWith? Ministries is excited to welcome Aimee Brown onto our staff. Aimee will be ministering, in a part-time position, with the women’s basketball team at Belmont University. This is an unusual move for our ministry, since Vanderbilt is the only campus we have served on since our beginnings in the summer of ’01. In addition, Aimee is the wife of our director, Lance Brown, and both of them were not sure if hiring a spouse would be a good idea, especially since Lance is so difficult to deal with on a daily basis! However, Aimee is one of the most decorated female athletes in Belmont University history.

She is their second all-time scorer and was the first woman to have her jersey retired in school history. So when discussions began about this opportunity, it just seemed too good of a fit not to pursue.

Aimee will be on Belmont’s campus once a week for practice and/or game and a second day for a weekly fellowship and Bible study with girls on the team. After the incredible impact of Betty Wiseman on Aimee’s life while at Belmont, she knows the importance of having someone you can go to for guidance and spiritual advice.

The team has already received Aimee (Momma B) with open arms and we look forward to sharing stories of life change in the days to come through this new ministry!
