"Success seems to be connected with
action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't
quit." --Conrad Hilton, Hotel Executive
Do you think God would actually make some people
to be natural born quitters? Can we blame God for the times we have quit on
Him? Let me share the last stanza of a poem someone once gave me: Success is failure turned inside out, The silver
tint of the clouds of doubt; And you never can tell just how close you are; It
may be near when it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you're hardest
hit; When things seem worst, you must not quit.
What does God's Word say?: Let us not
become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we
do not give up. Galatians 6:9 But we are not of those
who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are
saved. Hebrews 10:39
Peter, Paul, John and all the apostles of the
early church "did not give up" or "shrink back". They faced great persecution
for their faith, and yet they continued to proclaim Christ to all whom would
listen. I'm thankful those guys didn't quit. What if Christ had given up? Thankfully, He
didn't give up when He was on the cross. And He doesn't give up on us today.
Whatever you are facing, follow Christ's example.don't quit. Get up off the mat
and fight!
Just a thought!
