"When we know Him as He is, we serve Him

Do
you know Him? I don't mean like you know this morning's sports page, or like
you know the latest gossip, but do you know Him?
It is one thing to have a "head knowledge" of
Christ.however, it is a totally different thing to have a "heart knowledge" of
Christ.
We reserve a place in our
hearts for those who are closest to us. That type of closeness and/or intimacy
is what Christ desires to have with you and me. There is only one difference:
He doesn't want a place in your heart.He wants your whole heart.
Knowing Christ is being filled with Him on a
daily basis.it is being so consumed with Him that there is no room for the
temptations that surround us and entangle us.
What does God’s Word
say?:
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves
me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and
show myself to him." John 14:21
So I ask you.do you know Him as He is? If so,
then why are you not serving Him like you ought? If you don't know Him as He
is, then you can start today! Call on Him in prayer.admitting your shortcomings
(sin) and your need for Him to rescue you.believe He died and rose from the
grave for you and wants to have a personal relationship with you!
