“God Vision” This is the weekly email devotional of WhoUWith? Ministries (2004)   When asked, “What could be worse than losing your eye sight?” Helen Keller, who had been blind and deaf since childhood, answered, “Losing your vision!” Can you see?…I don’t mean physically seeing this email…I mean spiritually. Have you lost your vision for what God created you to be? Do you feel like you’re just “dog paddling” through life, or do you have a purpose? Do you feel passive, or passionate? Do you feel bored, or bold? What does God’s Word say?: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29: 11-13 Do not change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. Romans 12:2 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 Having God vision requires faith. It requires trusting God to lead you further than you can see. When you are in the midst of pain and problems, it requires leaning on Him. When you can’t depend on your future, it requires dependence on the One who holds the future. Need vision? Need hope? Then seek the One who gives vision and hope to the blind and hopeless…He is waiting…can you “see” Him? Just a thought!
