Dont worry about tomorrow, God
is already there! Unknown
During my college days, I spent my fair share of
time in the business school. Nearly every business class stressed the
importance of having one-year, 5-year and 10-year plans and working those
plans. I absolutely agree that you should have a plan
a direction.
However, the only problem with those short, and long-range, plans is life has a
way of adjusting our course.
Keeping an eye on the horizon is vital to
success. But please remember that spending today worrying about tomorrow is the
recipe for failure.
What does
Gods Word say?:
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:34
"Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
"Trust in
the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; "
Proverbs 3:5
One of the neatest things about following Christ
is just that, He is in the lead. We can make all the plans we want, but when
life interrupts our goals and dreams God is already on the scene. When we
experience pain He is there to comfort, when we make poor choices He corrects,
when we panic He is steady and immovable.
The adventure of life is to take the gifts and
skills that God has blessed you with and use them to best of your ability each
and every day. And trusting that He is always one day ahead of
you
encouraging
preparing
making a way in the wilderness of
life!
Why not make the most of
today and let God deal with your tomorrows?
Just a thought!
